Our little story

Bina (27) from Minneapolis & Jacob (24) from Atlanta

My husband, Jacob and I met through your site at the end of 2012. I was living in Minneapolis and Jacob was in Atlanta. I initiated contact to Jacob. He wrote back, asking if we could talk after Rosh Hashona, because it was a few hours before the holiday! We ended up talking and shortly after, to my surprise, Jacob told me he could fly out and meet me on his fall break, if I wanted him to, which by then I did! Jacob was doing his PhD in Atlanta and I had taken my first job out of college in Minneapolis. When he arrived at the airport, I was there to pick him up to bring him to his hotel. As I was pulling out after he got in the car, my car overheated and got stuck. Just a few feet from where I picked him up. I was so embarrassed! I ended up getting a tow truck, which took about three hours to come, that dropped him off at his hotel and dropped me off at my apartment. For the rest of the time he was there we used a rental car. We kept in touch via Skype almost every night. When I moved to Grand Forks, ND for grad school, he flew out to help me move. He again flew out there several more times. Eventually, I moved down to Atlanta and we got married in February 2014. Today, we have two beautiful kids! We couldn’t imagine not being together at this point. We’ve been through so much together in these past few years, and it’s made us appreciate each other a lot more. My mom passed away in 2017 and I was so grateful to have my husband at that difficult time, otherwise I wouldn’t have had anyone. Thank you JWed, for bringing us together. Our lives have been so much more meaningful and happy since we’ve been together. I hope all the singles out there can find the person that’s right for them, as we have found in each other.
