G-d Is in Control

Match #: 2519&2520

I have been on the site off and on for close to twelve years. I have changed my views and almost every detail of my life to accommodate a suitor. When I am myself, HaKadosh Baruch Hu sent my real zivug who joined the site only two weeks before G-d took him to my profile. We knew within a few calls that we were close to the real deal. As we continued on, the realization became greater and within a few weeks, he came for a visit for a week and we knew about the third day in, after the "shock" of meeting and investing time together in person. We were quickly becoming the dream and almost could not believe it was real. The desire to meet our shidduch was so profound that as it was happening, we began to see G-d's hand and the miracle that He was bestowing upon us. In close to a month and a half, we addressed the rav to set a date and in three weeks, we are destined to chupah, bashert, and kiddushin.
As my shadchan and dear friend for many years stated: "this teaches everyone to not give up; not the seeker, not the shadchan, not anyone, as G-d has His plan and we are not privy to know what that is or how it will appear."
We are two incredibly happy people and the more we invest in being with each other and communicating, the more we find we have in common and it is a great feeling to know that we understand one another and appreciate our choices. Hard to find someone with greater middos than him; his generosity, compassion, life experiences, compelling feelings, genteel and chivalrous demeanor that is true to the bone, his humor and support and I could continue to write more and more and more; I think you get the picture.
We wish you all mazel and hatzlacha...just as I wanted to throw in the towel and knew that that was really not the way to go, my shidduch appeared and the rest is His-Story.
Shalom and barochos: Heart and Shmuel
