A Tale of two Italian Jews

Match #: 1257&1258

The way we met was I actually wrote him first. There was something about his picture which really stood out to me and I was very attracted. I said "I read your profile and I think we could be right for each other. Let me know if you agree." When he replied, we had a 2 hour virtual date and scheduled an in-person date the next day. It turned out that we both lived in Flatbush and we that our last names are almost the same! We were both Jewish and Italian and are both BTs. I was very impressed by his many years of learning in kollel. When we met in person, it was obvious that our personalities clicked really well! We are both outgoing and love to spontaneously break out in song.  I invited him to join me at my synagogue that Saturday and that was the weekend where we really connected! It was like I finally found the piece of my soul that was missing. Each day we spend together, we are discovering more and more things that we have in common. We only knew each other for 1 month and dated seriously for about 2 weeks before we decided that it was bashert!! He asked me to marry him after work on Tuesday, June 24th in the playground across the street. He is really sweet and romantic and we are very happy together! I could not have asked for a better man to share the rest of my life with. Thank you, JWed for making all of my dreams come true!!

Chaya and Rafael were married on Sept. 23, 2008.
