There is No Age for Love!
Match #: 901&902
Well after two years of looking for a spouse , for both of us,and literally over a thousand profiles and dates later, I got an email via JWed from a 21 year old girl in New York. Now this is by far the youngest girl to have ever contacted me, and I was sure that it was a scam or something. In short, what she wrote was that she had read my profile on JWed and that she thought I was just right for her mother!!! Now that was a new twist on things. So, I wrote back and said I wouldn't mind contacting her mother.
Well we started to write and found many things in common even though on the outside we are very different. I am Ashkenazi, born in Texas, and have lived the last 30 years in Israel, native tongue being English.. Sylvie was born in Casablanca, native tongue is French and Sephardi.
The first conversations via Skype and through the phone help us build a strong friendship and we got to know each other. We shared secrets of our past.Already at that time, we had some feelings for each other and cared ...
We upgraded our communications by using video cameras. Then, we fell deeply in love and i went to Montreal in Feb 2007 for 5 days. After that things are more serious. Then Sylvie came to Israel in Aug. 2007 for 3 weeks with her 4th child of 15 years old. Two weeks later I did a virtual engagement via the internet and asked her to marry me, which she responded very positively to. I went back to Montreal in december where we had celebrated our lehaim.
We hope to be married in the summer ,the 13th of august 2008, BH", after Sylvie makes aliyah with her youngest daughter Natasha.
We want to thank JWed for being there for us and all the other couples that got their chance by your service. Being a moshavnik and not very close to any major city, definately makes finding a spouse much more difficult. However, with the internet one can expand those horizons and search across the entire world for a spouse.
