A comment about dimples could bring two people together!

Match #: 823&824

It is amazing to think that a comment about dimples could bring two people together!
Evan (who I am now proud and blessed to call my fiancé) contacted me on February 8, 2006 with a simple one-liner about my dimples.
To say that the rest is history would be way too boring…
What ensued was communication via email at first, then by phone and then a meeting in person in London. It has truly been an international romance spanning travel to London several times, New York and South Africa. The engagement occurred on February 14, 2007 on a rain-drenched park bench in Kensington Park, London, immediately after both Jodi and Evan landed.
Despite Evan living in South Africa and myself living in New York, we both worked hard to develop our relationship. While it can often be difficult being so far from someone, we both soon realized that such things happen for a reason and are so happy to have found each other!
The distance has provided challenges but it has also provided us the opportunity to get to know one other in a unique way, possibly more intensely than if it had been a conventional dating relationship.
The wedding, G-d willing, will be October 14, 2007 and both Evan and I are very excited. Although it was Evan who took the initiative to contact me, it was JWed that brought us together. Thank you JWed for providing the opportunity for me to meet the most wonderful man, someone who I respect, admire, love and can not wait to spend my life with!

Jodi and Evan plan to get married on October 14, 2007.
