We went to the same shul growing up!

Match #: 249&250

The interesting part of our story is that growing up, Iris went to Talmud Torah at the same shul that my family and I were members of. Iris' mother also taught at the Talmud Torah. People who know (knew) both of us assumed that we had to have met/run into each other before and didn't think we were a fit.
When we started corresponding through JWed, I introduced myself to Iris and gave her a little background, her mom asked a gentleman who she worked with at the Talmud Torah if he had an idea who I am. This gentleman was also the Youth Director of the Synagogues Junior Congregation, which I went to before becoming Bar Mitzvah...he was also my Bar Mitzvah teacher.
We got engaged right before Pesach. I announced it at the first Seder in the form of four questions. Her mother was there, as were my parents, grandfather, my sister, her husband and 3 kids and my family's closest friends, who hosted the Seder.
We are very excited about the rest of our lives and are thrilled that you enabled us to meet. We lived so close to each other, yet in different worlds before we logged into JWed. At our L'chaim I mentioned JWed and recommended it to everyone. We are extremely grateful for your service!
Adam and Iris, JWed Match, were married Rosh Chodesh Kislev/November 14, 2004.

Adam and Iris, JWed Match #125, were married Rosh Chodesh Kislev/November 14, 2004.
